Kimchi Table ( Review )

Annyeonghaseyo! Today I'll share about Kimchi Table. It is located at Komplek Multatuli block E53&54, Medan.

I went there when it was sunday night and it was very crowded at  that time. I barely had table there. As you know that Medanese tends to follow one to another especially food, we ( including me ) like to eat in a restaurant that full of people, the more it's crowded the more delicious the food is, we think.
So, I got the VIP room because no more table. I don't know whether it was a good idea or not because subsequently something  happened.
As soon as we sat at the table, the waiter served the side dish, sauces and provided cutlery. I ordered Samgyeobsal (plain pork), Doijigogi Gui (pork that marinated with spicy sauce), Jap Chae Beef, and Budae Jjigae.

How to cook Samgyeobsal

Taa-daaa!
Looks like babi goreng (fried pork) right? But it tastes like BPK (Babi Panggang Karo). So, the "something happen" is like this. When you grill something, it will automatically produce the smoke, won't it? Then it also happened when I grilled the Samgyeobsal. Just in several seconds the room full of the smoke. In that VIP room there is any cooker hood, but a very small ventilation on the upper wall, I even not sure whether it was a ventilation or not. Even after we waited for several minutes, the smoke can't fade away. Then we decided to move to another table, of course not a VIP room again.

Using emergency stove
Another event happened again after we moved table. The stove suddenly can't work. The remaining Samgyeobsal that hasn't been grilled must use the emergency stove. The meals was actually good, but the facilities still need a lot of process. How can they let us to grill pork in a enclosed room with no cooker hood or ventilation?

So, that's it my review about Kimchi Table. See you at my next post!

Yours sincerely,
Phoby :)

    1. the Samyeobsal and Budae Jjigae is delicious but I don't really like the Jap Chae Beef. Jap Chae Beef more like "tanghun" which is I don't like. It is quite pricey, the Samgyeobsal cost Rp.75 000,00 , Budae Jjigae cost Rp.300 000,00, and the Jap Chae Beef around Rp.50 000,00, I guess. However it is worth with the taste :)
