This the KOREA TRIP part 3, the reason why I split it like this because I don't want you to feel bored. Okay, let's start the

I was trying to imitate the korean doll behind |
Today I also went to Dongdaemun Market, which is one of the largest commercial district comprising traditional markets and shopping center. I went there when it was Saturday, so there was a lot of young people gather there and had some shopping. Butttt I didn't take the situation, I'm so sorry :(
There is also a Dongdaemun Stadium near the Dongdaemun Market. The stadium was used for olympic 1988.
THE SIXTH DAY
Today my schedule was to go to Cheongwadae Sarangchae which is a multi-purpose exhibition hall
where visitors can learn about the lives and accomplishments of former
Korean presidents as well as understand the past, present and future
visions of Seoul and Korea. I am not interested in politic, government and that kind of subject, so I just saw briefly at there.

Can't you see the Blue House behind? It is the executive office and official residence of the South Korean head of state |
After that, I went to Gyeongbokgung Palace, which is a palace that is arguably the most beautiful and remains the largest of all palace in Korea. The premises were once destroyed by fire during the Imjinwaeran War
(Japanese Invasion, 1592-1598). However, all of the palace's 7,700 rooms
were later restored under the leadership of Heungseondaewongun during
the reign of King Gojong (1852-1919) . (

At Gwanghwamun Gate ( Gyeongbokgung Palace's big gate ) |
Near the Gwanghwamun Gate there is King Sejong statue, the king that found Korean Alfabet, and Admiral Yi Sun-sin, the naval commander that led Koreans to victory during the Japanese invasions of Korea.
 |
Do you know what is that? It is actually a plant that being covered up by straw so they can survive although it was below 0 celcius |
|
Then I went to shopping center again, which was Myeondong. There was a lot of cosmetic brands such as Etude, Nature Republic, Holika-holika and etc. I didn't buy any cosmetic, because all my attention was on the street food which is very famous in Korea. It is a must-try-street-food when you are at Korea.
 |
Tteokbokki!! Cost 3000 won |
 |
Egg Bread (Gyerangbang), it cost 2000 won |
 |
Dalgona (달고나) – It's a traditional Korea food that made by white sugar and baking soda. It cost 1000 won. |
Okay, see you at the last part of Korean Trip! Byeeee >.<
